((OOC: Kidd's Letter to his Mother, Part IV))

Dear Mum,

I'm sorry I haven't written to you in a while. I've actually been really busy, but not with any riveting cases. You remember I wrote to you about Eugene, right? He's been having some girl troubles lately--he likes this girl and she's really violent. Insanely violent. I tried to help him, but it really didn't work. Remember that bedtime story about the mooselings? Right? Well...I kind of tweaked it a bit. I'M SORRY!! [The rest is unintelligibly blotted out]

I know with every fiber of my being that you were never like that when growing up. To envision you having violent tendencies is nearly impossible. But perhaps you can give me some advice that I can pass onto Eugene? Percival was absolutely no help at all, and, well, you are female, so you must know something.

Speaking of girls, do you remember that girl Sharon from the Second Fire Bringer War? The one who liked riding on lizards? She's come back to Budehuc after Futch. I gathered a bunch of new info on her just from talking to her and Futch. There are a lot of things I'd rather not share I never knew about her. She's kind of like Nanami, but I made her cry, and it felt terrible and weird afterwards. I don't think I've ever made anyone that upset before, but I've been extra cautious not to let it happen again she's not as violent. Or ugly. [ink runs messily across the page]

She and Futch plan to teach Eugene and I how to climb trees. Before you say anything, let me remind you that my birthday is only a few weeks away, and I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, seeing as I've been nearly independent these past four years. So climbing trees is NOT something to worry about. I don't think we'll be starting for a while though...Eugene's still recovering from his psycho girlfriend some injuries, and the weather lately hasn't been very promising.

Also, could I trouble to ask you for another shirt? Nothing fancy--my yellow sweater is a little stained, but I managed to clean it, and my coat is fine, but my shirt isn't looking too fantastic. I don't think I need to go into detail about it and I really would rather not, so thank you in advance. Furthermore, Sasuke says 'hi'--he's been kind of troubled lately, so when you're done with that underwear you're making for him, he might cheer up.

I don't think I'll be coming home for my birthday. Have [unreadable scrawl] did you hear anything from Dad? Have a safe Valentine's Day, and stay well. ♥
