Home from spending the weekend with the Prof's family on Long Island. There's been some tension recently between the two of us and his parents, so I am very pleased that all of the parties/functions with his extended family went well and were a great deal of fun.

Here we are again, at the caboose of another year. Happy (belated) Valentine's Day!

We kind of shot our V-Day budget last year, so this year the Prof and I had a quiet (and relatively inexpensive) dinner at a nearby Greek restaurant. Well, Christmas seems to have been a success this year. I have a dog kennel in the middle of my room, but more on that later. No huge fights, lots o' gifts, good food, and a splendid time for all.
