What kinds of characters attract you?
I have an exercise that is probably more of a discussion, so feel free to post your thoughts too and not just answers to the questions.
On some collectives it's so easy to tell what kind of characters the webmaster likes by what shrines are featured on the sites page. On other collectives it's a little harder to find a common characteristic between them. I didn't think I really had a type of character I go for, but upon examining my shrines, I found a common characteristic between each and every character I've shrined or plan to shrine.
I thought it would be neat to discuss what kind of characters we generally go for if you know, and for those of you that don't know, it might be kind of fun to figure it out. So I encourage you guys to do the exercise and then answer the questions below. It'll be fun.

➀ List the characters you have shrined.
➁ Without spoiling major plot points for those reading (or at least mark them if it's inevitable), list characteristics of each character. Focus on the parts of the characters you like.
➂ Draw comparisons.

➀ Do you seem to like random characters, or were you able to find a common trait in characters you like?
➁ What attracts you to characters?
If you are completely at a loss try the first two parts of the exercise and others will respond with what they think could be a common characteristic.
