September SOTM Nominations
Auuughhh, how is it September already?? :( School ... nooooo ... anyways, ahem. Sorry, I'm late! I've had a lot on my mind with school starting soon. Anyways, for this month yeerk will be picking nonanimanga and I will be picking animanga I LIED, as it turns out we had koenil (elenen.org) and dncarolyn (aka Neliel of ryuuku.net) picking, and both of them will be judging BOTH categories. Sorry for the mixup!
Remember, if you would like to VOLUNTEER to pick SOTM sometime, please let me know! We'd love to have you help out :) If you're interested, tell me if you want to do it with someone and which category you'd like to be in charge of, or whether you'd like to judge both if you're working with someone else. Thanks!
We pick one unique shrine from each category (animanga and non-animanga, aka games/books/movies/etc) each month, based on the nominations we get. Anyone can nominate any shrine they enjoy. There's no special requirement. NOMINATE LOTS! Remember, if we don't get enough noms we may pull up old ones from previous months :)
If you're not sure what shrines to nominate, we do have the directory for your convenience, but of course nominated shrines do not have to belong to current members, so there's even more listed on the other shrine directories we have linked on the community sidebar.
A couple things to make note of:
❶ Feel free to recommend shrines for both or either one of the categories, and be sure to not only leave the url, but explain why you feel that shrine should win. You're trying to convince us to pick it after all! If you need an example of this, check out last month's nominations, the winners' nominations have been unscreened for examples.
❷ You can nominate the same shrine for several months. If yours is not picked this month, feel free to nominate it again and keep your reason exactly the same. The nomination queue is cleared each month.
❸ The winning shrines can be shrines made by members of this community and members not in the community.
❹ You may make more than one nomination for either or both categories.
