As for the first question, I can definitely see a pattern. Kai, Watanuki, Blair and Chuck, for example - I love them because there's definitely more than meets the eye with all of them. Most, if not all of my characters seem to have something tragic happen to them, or they seem to go through a changing process - both things which add depth to those characters, I think. I seem to like both main and secondary characters, regardless of their importance in the story. As long as I like them (to the point that sometimes I can even relate to them, or they have genuinely become 'part of me', somehow), then I will most likely make them a shrine. :D

As for the second question... I can't really say any of the characters I plan to make a shrine to have had that happen to them. However, I must say I'm not liking how the writers are making Blair act in season 5 of Gossip Girl, to the point that I might consider this season as to never have happened. I still really want to make a shrine to her and Chuck, nothing has changed. I probably will just add my thoughts on this season in a section of the shrine where I explain how I don't think Blair is 'herself' in this season by comparing her to how she was in previous seasons. Fortunately the writers haven't changed how much I love Blair and Chuck, both as individual characters and as a couple. :)
