For this trope I knew it was between Studio Ghibli and Makoto Shinkai's works (5 cm per second is his most famous film I believe), and while Miyazaki's films are always amazing and gorgeous, I have to give the edge to Makato Shinkai in the visual department. Just ugh, the lights, the details, everything about his films are visually stunning.

19. Smoking is Cool | Cecilia, Atonement. This and the alternates are very out of the box icons for me. I would never choose brown as a dominant colour. And the texture use is very different from the usual (but raiindust's latest texture post was too pretty to pass up!).
