Chapter one
I love you aniki…I love you the most in this world, even if the god won’t agree with my decision.
“Yusuke! Let’s take pictures together.”
“A...hai! hai!”
That’s my twin big brother Yusuke, a handsome and a cheerful one. I envy him because he can get along well with everyone, with Kyouhei and Yuu also, and I envy them most because they can get along well with him. I envied them for so long time ago.
“Hisa-chan! Let’s take our pictures. Either Kyou-chan or Yuu-chan will take ours!” Yusuke yelled at me from the court.
I’m yours aniki. I’ll do whatever you want. I’ll do whatever you wish. I’ll go where ever you go. I’ll stand by your side forever.
“Hai! Chotto matte kudasai!” I smiled, he smiled me back.
I go down the stairs to reach him on the ground floor. Although he’s far from the 3rd floor, although our school didn’t have the lift to reach that floor easily, I’ll go whenever you want me to go.
“Nee..Kyou-chan, will you take our pictures together?” Yusuke said to him.
“Of course I will. Come on Hisato, pose! Pose! Smile, alright...say cheese!”
The sound of the light makes my heart pounding hard. Is it already over?
“Chotto yusuke, one more time is it okay? Hisato didn’t smile in this picture. Ne, Hisato, it’s the last time you’re standing in this court. After that you can’t go back to this time again.”
“Ah, Kyou-chan, take my camera. Maybe this boy will smile with that, since it’s his though. Come on Hisa! I want to have a picture together with you.”
I’ll do whatever you want...
“Okay my dear big brother...I will smile for you!” I said half joking.
“That’s my sibling, alright!” and then he’s laughing.
Today is the graduation day of us from the senior high school. I have been together with him since kindergarten. Maybe we’re not entered the same university since I’ve chose the one that far from our house.
“Nee, Hisato, which university wills you enter?” Yuu asked me.
“Hyoudai University in Sendai I thought, I’m going to take psychology.”
“Wow! You’re very smart; you’re so different with your brother. Yusuke you have to learn from your little brother, I suggest you to study more. By the way, how’s your score in the last test in the course Yukke?”
“Hey Kyou-chan, you shouldn’t ask him that question.” Yuu said quickly. Yusuke only smile and quickly change the topic.
Yusuke had a problem to deal with subjects in school for he had a brain damage since he was 12. I’m the one that cause the illness. Yusuke saved me when I was about to be hit by a truck. I’m the one that never could be forgiven, so that I’ll always be by his side although my sins continue to accumulate from that day, the day I’ve chose him to be my only one.
“Aniki, let’s go home. Mother will be worried if we weren’t arriving home at this time. Ja ne Kyou-chan, Yuu-chan.” I said to them.
“Bye Hisato, Bye bye Yukke.” They smiled for both of us after they satisfied waving their hands to us like hushing some kind of dirty things. Damn them both…it’s a joke of course.
We walk side by side. He holds his certificates with both hands as if it will fall easily or so. He sometimes looked back facing the school building before we continue walking home.
“Hey Aniki, how come you’ve been taller than me?”
“Haha, that’s why big brother is not only the name, is it? I thought it’s about 189cm for sure” He smiles again and again and again…I want to protect that very beautiful smile for me only.
“Aniki, where will you continue to study?” I asked him quiet serious.
“I’m not.” He replied fast.
I’m a bit shocked, but I thought he was joking.
“Ho…how come you won’t continue? It’s a joke, isn’t it?” I asked him again.

We both keep silent for a moment trying to get a new topic to discuss. Unfortunately we couldn’t speak up any topic in our head until we reach the house.
“Ne Aniki, if you have problem you can’t tell anyone; at least you could trust me to be your secret keeper. I wish I can always help you the way you want me to.”
“Hisa-chan, don’t take this matter that seriously. I know that you are half of me; that’s why I won’t keep any secret from you. Trust me. Go inside, mother is waiting.”

A painful thing is when you can’t have the one you truly loved. The most painful thing is when you can’t tell the one that you loved that you love him.

I always believe that tomorrow will be better than today…but…in some case I couldn’t help but pray to god that tomorrow will just be better for him.
“Hisato,tell your brother to take his lunch!” Mother ordered me.
“Hai…I’ll tell him soon.”
“Nee, chotto Hisato…I wonder why he hadn’t taken his breakfast this morning also. Was he sick? Hisato, did you find something different with your brother attitude these days?” Mother asked me with a very soft tone and a strange expression.
“I didn’t, but I’m sure you to get him back to take his lunch in a minute.”

I’m more suffered when you suffered. I’m not going to see you sick for not taking the meal aniki!. I thought to myself.
I knocked the door twice but no answer. I knocked again, three times this time, but still no answer.

“Don’t open the door!” Yusuke’s yelled from the room makes me stop moving the handle. His voice was so strange. A low unstable tone come out from Yusuke’s mouth, it never happened before.
May I break the rule that I’ve settled from so long time ago? Can I?
‘I’ll do whatever you wish.’
I’m not thinking twice to try about breaking the rule. I’m more concerned about yusuke’s condition at this time.
I entered the room with thousands of heartbeat. I’m worried. What else should I say to describe this feeling? I never get this kind of worried ness again, never, since that truck hit him right in front of my eyes. And now, I found him lying on the bed with pale face.
“Aniki! Aniki what happened? God! You have a fever. Wait I’ll call mother.”
“Don’t, just don’t. I’m okay. The fever won’t take an hour. It’s usual…., Hisato, don’t call anybody to come here…”
What!! Usual?! How come you didn’t tell me about this…you said that you won’t keep any secret from me…
I take his hand trying to measure his heat. I don’t have to touch his forehead to make sure that his fever is high for his hand is also like burning itself.

I hug him without even hesitate; I know he didn’t notice my feeling. Maybe he thinks my hugging is only a common act for a little brother who worried about his big brother condition.
He breathed in my ears. For sure, his breath is very unstable and a bit hotter than norm people.
“Ne Hisato, I’ll be okay. Don’t worry too much. I’m very happy to have twin like you. I’m thankful to the god who gives me you that can never be changed by anyone. You always take care of me…I wonder when I can payback to all of you have given to me…”
I release my hug and see his smiling.
I can’t take it anymore, I want him very bad…I love him so much…it hurt in here, in my heart when I see him like this.
“Yusuke, can I bring your lunch here?”
“It’s okay, I can manage it. Look the fever is already gone. It won’t take an hour like I’ve said. Hisato, Help me to stand up.”
“Ah, okay.”
I help him stood up then watch him walking down the stairs. He’ll going to eat his lunch.

“Aniki, I’ll be going to Sendai in a week. Do you want something? If you want, write down a shopping list. I’ll be checking those things in there.”
“Aa…I think the food is okay. I love eating snacks.”
“Okay, then its settled. I’m going to buy mothers and yours in the first week. And others in the following weeks.”
“Arigatou hisa-chan.”
“Mm…aniki, how about your fever?” I asked.
“Don’t worry. I’m okay.” He smiled.
“Oh…you should sleep soon, don’t overslept. It’s already 10 pm, you know?”

“Hisa-chan!! Can you help me…there are a lot of your things here for you to be brought.” Mother shouted from the first floor.
“Hai…chotto matte mom. Will you sleep just now, aniki? I’m going to prepare for my leaving.”
“Nah, I’m going to help you then.”
“A..re? Aniki, remember your fever this afternoon, you should sleep soon to recover your condition.”

Actually there are no important things that my mom found. For me, it’s enough to have aniki sat beside me trying to search something for me to be packed.
“Hisa-chan, look…these are our photo album when we are in the junior high. Wanna take a look?” Yusuke pass the book to me.
“Heee….you’re sure cute aniki. Look, the uniform seems very suit on you. Hey, you seemed the taller students in the class..too bad that in junior high we don’t get in the same class for three years.”
“Don’t make me laugh hisa-chan. We have the same face; if you find that I’m cute that means you cute yourself.”
“No, no…it’s different.” I said while putting the album in the selected things.
“Will you bring that to Sendai?”
“Of course, why do you ask?”
“Heavy isn’t it?”
“No problem, I want to bring you to Sendai though, but its okay with your photo.”
“Eh?” He was surprised.
“Nothing. Ne, mother. I’ll pack these first. If you find something important, tell me later okay.”
“Hisa-chan, I’ll help you.” Yusuke offered a help.
“No,it’s okay aniki. I can do it myself.”
“I want to help you for this last week.”
“Thanks but you should sleep. I want you to help me by sleeping yourself. Ja…oyasumi.”

After yusuke went back to our room to sleep, I went to the mother’s room.
“Found anything important mother?”
“I don’t think so. Sa, this is the travel bag, and some of your old clothes. You can pick some to be brought to Sendai.”
“Thanks…okay now I will prepare my things…please give me that travel bag...”
“Alright, here”
I went to my room on the second floor-just as the same as yusuke. As I come in to the room, I thought he had been slept for I already assure him to sleep due to his condition.
“Aniki?”
“Mmm…”
“How come you didn’t sleep? I thought you already fall asleep a moment ago.”
He kept silent for a moment, but then he speaks almost like a police that should interrogated a suspect.
“There is something that I need to talk to you, Hisa-chan.”
