Inspired much by raneczka, I've finally brought myself to do a meme, which makes you list top 10 Asian people / things you like. Since I simply love doing my personal rankings, this meme is just right for me. I've decided to start with the easiest - my favorite Asian females, for two reasons:
» I knew there wouldn't be many to choose from, so
» I wouldn't have any troubles limiting myself to just 10. Gosh, it's gonna be so much harder with the guys...

Rules:
01. Make a graphic(s) with your Top 10 Asian Girls/Boys/Something you like...
02. Have a graphic(s) with an explanation why you like her/him/it, or why she/he is on that place in the ranking
03. Post it on your LJ and tag 5 people to do it too

Tagging no one and everyone, but I'm particularly curious about yours guys - trolit & ksi_ksi.

Top 10 Asian girls

Miyazaki Aoi
I believe I first saw her in Heavenly Forest, the movie I only wanted to watch cause supposedly Matsujun cried on it. She was the most adorable creature ever in it. I began liking her at once, tough well, my tears didn't fall. Then there was Nana and once again, Miyazaki Aoi as Hachi captured my heart. I can say with confidence that she's my favorite Japanese actress. She's always able to create that special aware mood I like so much. And she's so sweet and beautiful! For the longest time I was hoping her and Okada would end up together (totally random). Yeah, even though she's married.

Nocchi
My pick from Perfume. I like all three girls and I find them all special, but Nocchi stands out the most to me. I like her short hair and that she's wearing shorts most of the time. And I admire her dancing the most. You can see how much she enjoys it and how good she's at it. I can only dream of dancing like that. It's also cute that she's a bit shy and quiet and doesn't have many friends. Still keeping my fingers crossed for Ko-chan.

CL
Very fresh, very new. I only started to pay attention to 2NE1 a few days ago. She's definitely unique and that's always a plus in my eyes. What's fun it that on stage she appears to be a crazy bitch but if you do watch her backstage and listen to what she has to say, she's extremely polite and well behaved (but still fearce). Which is good, I can't stand cheeky people. I appreciate gaps like that. Okay, and she's G-Dragon's friend. She talks about Big Bang a lot actually and with great respect.

Lee Yeon Hee
Fav Korean actress. She's one of the most beautiful girls in the world to me. And so tiny! I've seen her in A Millionaire's First Love but not until Hello Schoolgirl she won me over completely. In spite of the fact that Korean girls in movies or kdramas are usually so irritating I can't stand them. She is a fine exception.

SoHee
Some people say she's weird. I prefer to say - one of a kind. Yeah, maybe a bit withdrawn and introverted (or maybe a lot), but it's great to find a girl like that in showbiz. I like her mostly cause she's different. She's still a kid, kinda fears guys and her facial expressions are priceless. But at the same time, you can see she works hard to do her job properly. She looks sweet next to G-Dragon, adorable with Yesung and Heechul's like in love with her or something and still - I like her a lot.

Kago Ai
A legend. The whole Japan used to be in love with this girl and I so understand why. During her Morning Musume days she was the cutest little thing. Always full of energy, unstoppable with Tsuji. Too young to understand how to act or pretend anything, she openly showed her stupid side and laughed when everyone called her fat. She was just a simple kid having fun - as plain as that, but refreshing to watch. I still like her, despite how things ended up for her.

Aibu Saki
If Miyazaki Aoi is my fav Japanese movie actress, Aibu Saki is definitely the one I like to watch most in jdramas. I've seen a lot already: Ganbatte Ikimasshoi!, Attention Please!, Happy!, Utahime, Zettai Kareshi. It's amusing how strongly I disliked her during our first episode ever (Ganbatte Ikimasshoi!) - she was playing a total bitch. But later her character changed and since then I remember I was always rooting for her to end up with the male lead (twice with Ryo-chan). I like her smile and overall kawaiiness - not too sweet, like most Japanese girls, but sweet enough. Do I have to add I'm ecstatic about her and Nagase?

YeEun
It took me a while to pick my fav girl from Wonder Girls. At first, I didn't even consider Ye Eun. She was the fifth one, the determined one, the lucky one. Yeah she could sing well and was funny and cute with Daesung during Big Bang & Wonder Girls performances, but still. So what made me change my mind? Her character traits - openness, enthusiasm and kindness. That she's so selfless and caring about others, especially So Hee. And she likes H.O.T.

Taeyeon
Still no. 1 in SNSD. The girl reminds me so much of myself when I was in high school. Having her own world, doing cutesy and klutzy stuff, great connection with guys. Seriously, when I see her with Kangin it's like reminiscing. I believe she's actually a smart gal, despite appearing to be a scatter-brain, and very well knows what she's doing. Oh, and Taeyeon & Junsu are ♥.

Takahashi Ai
Surprisingly, it's her. The first Asian girl I claimed I liked, when trolit asked me to choose my own Morning Musume member years ago. My sympathy for her started instantly when I saw her in Utaban singing a song with Taka-san. It was the first episode with 5th generation and they called her Teretere because of her accent. Besides her quirkiness, great voice and beautiful fairy-like looks, I guess I like her so much cause I was being able to watch her grow up through all those years. From a bit of a tomboy who wore hip-hop clothes, through a sexy gamine to a strong and lovely leader. It's a sentimental memory for me.
