This has to be one of the lamest pick-up lines I've heard. Directly. But if it's Big Bang then... No, sorry, it's still lame. G-Dragon solo with that freakin' adorable smile of his? Okay, yeah, maybe. Actually, who am I kidding?
Big Bang is IT right now. Surprisingly their first Japanese single My Heaven got stuck in my head for good even despite the wondrous depth of lyrics, both English and Japanese. Ano natsu de... Ano umi de.... Kore wa pen desu, people! I loved that the PV maintained that emo emo look I've seen in Lies and Haru Haru. The way G-Dragon runs, hello? Simply heartbreaking. Plus these boys really do use their share of eyeliner. G-Dragon (who, as I recently discovered, has an actual name, but I obviously haven't even bother to learn it, yet) very much reminds me in it of that gay guy from Antique Bakery, with the hair and everything. And am I the only one who thinks he's kinda sorta skinnier lately than before? I also wonder why he's the only one who has scenes with a girl. Lucky bitch.

Anyways, Big Bang's fashion is as much off as usual (that's honestly one thing you guys could pick up from SHINee - I know they should be pronounced like shiny, though I prefer Japanese shine aka "just go ahead and die"). I blame the current trends. 2NE1? 4minute? Btw, I feel bad for HyunA - she used to be my fav when I was just getting to know Wonder Girls, so lively and fun. And the best dancer.
Back to Big Bang. In spite of awesome fashion sense, which makes my favorite arrogant boy band lover Seungri look like one of 101 Dalmatians, Taeyang as usual like Bow Wow, G-Dragon like a total emo chick (unless he lets his hair loose - then he's just cute as a pie) and don't even get me started on T.O.P, who reminds me more and more of Mabo (!) (strangely enough, Daesung looks good, good Japanese material), it's amusing to watch Big Bang run around the stage during performances in Japanese shows, all gangsta. Where's KAT-TUN? - one might ask. It gives out a somewhat refreshing vibe. Especially mega hyper G-Dragon. I honestly didn't expect much of him from the beginning. Yeah, I singled him out in my very fist Big Bang performance ever (with Wonder Girls, obviously), but, call me shallow, I kinda thoght he was too pretty to have a personality. Well and I was wrong. Now I absolutely adore his hyper side, though I've got a feeling the guy is probably bipolar. I'm gonna start calling him my baby or something, cause he's so young!
On the other hand, I'm still getting used to Big Bang's new Japanese song Gara Gara Go!!. I hate the concept, the change of style and how they look (is that a hat baby, or a bowl?), but the song's catchy. And sorta clubbish.
Enough about Big Bang, SNSD released something new too and it's more than worth mentioning. Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) - amazing song, amazing PV. I believe I already heard a song about a genie before. And a bottle was definitely involved.
What's great is that before every promo the girls get makeovers. And now I can bash their looks - ha! Let's start with the good ones. Thumbs up for Sooyoung - cutting your hair this short was a risky choice but it's paid off. She looks beautiful, stylish and elegant, all in one. It's really hard to call her the "fairest of them all" though, with Sunny looking so smokin' hot. It's probably a matter of make-up. However, Sunny had always this "cute" vibe going for her (kinda like Wonder Girls' Sohee) and here she appears totally different and well, hot. Seen this, Sungmin? The third best looking girl has to be Taeyeon. I like the hair, it suits her well. Actually everything about her just goes together. She looks as if she was going to a fancy party or something.

I don't have a lot to say about Seohyun, who's like always the same and Yuri, who hasn't changed much either. But I think Yuri should keep her hair straightened and not necessarily parted in the middle - she looked way batter during that sexy dance on Music Core.

Now we move on to the less fortunate choices. Tiffany, darling, is this your real hair? Cause it kinda looks like one of Yoobin's wigs and that can't be good (I mean her hair does not move!). I have the same advice for you as for Yuri - keep it straight, keep it longer (but not too long, semi-long is enough) and you're gonna look pretty, just like in Fashion House. Yoona wanted to be brave too, but the color kinda backfired on her. Again with miedziany? I swear in the beginning of the PV she looks just like Goto Maki to me. It's a positive step that you're trying to distinguish yourself from the triplets, but short hair would have been enough. The same goes for Jessica. I know you're from Cali but if you wanna force blond on yourself, you should have stayed there. And what's up with the horrid fringe? I mean, there's really something about this girl. She has a pretty face, a great figure yet somehow most of the time she looks like she could have done better. Is it the hair??? I'm running out of ideas. She has an interesting Upper East Side style going on (with the headbands and everything) and I'm just gonna assume it's not doing her justice. With Hyoyeon, there isn't really much of her in this PV, but from what I've seen, it's not good either. Fashion House look worked for you - stick with it.
