I think I read in the paper the other day about scientists discovering a black hole that was being orbited by another, smaller black hole. That might be what that second article is talking about but it didn't seem like it. Either way it's freaky!

Creating the blackest black yet just makes me think of that shoe ad that used to be on television in primary school where a goth goes looking for back to school shoes and accosts the saleman with 'got any blacker?'

That might've been the article I read too - maybe they found them, saw they were orbiting, and only later realised the big one was eatin' the little one? And what's even more mind-blowing, it was either this, or something very similar - because of the distances involved, all the action was actually happenning 400 million years ago and we're only catching the trailers now: so the main event, the actual shockwave that tears apart the fabric of time is.... how far off exactly?

Really understanding why hyperspace is so essential now - the reasoning behind the hypertight cap'n pants of Han/Mal is still unclear, prolly something to do with physics though - best not to replace them with baggy cargo pants, just to be on the safe side?

I never saw that ad! It sounds adorable - awww, back when goths were still the new, funny, sellable kids on the block. Goth's all a bit passé now, I guess - Andrew Hansens "Emo Washing Powder" is the new black!

Maybe it's like that Kurt Vonnegut novel and the universe has decided it's had enough of expanding and wants to shrink instead, so we'll have to live our lives in reverse/all over again. Wearing tight pants. Black tight pants.
