1. Who is your favourite character from #2? (Frisky Dingo)
Killface, hands down. No contest. He's a giant, hulking, chalk-white evil demon supervillain with a faux English accent building a machine to hurl the earth into the sun, all the while being a single parent lovingly raising his only son. What isn't hilarious about that? I just love that he can be alternately ruthless (shooting people with his laser while quipping "London calling!") and almost painstakingly sweet when dealing with Simon ("Well, bright young lads who get a C in Earth Science and a C- in Algebra don't get to go on a lovely kidnapping.")
2. Who is your least favourite character from #4? (Family Guy)
Strangely enough, Peter Griffin, the main character. Reason? I don't know. Too derivative? Not that most things on that show aren't derivative. He's like Archie Bunker mixed with Homer Simpson but minus the lovable personality.
3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? (Venture Bros and Lost)
Ha! This is a trick question. Venture Bros and Lost ALREADY did a crossover! In the Venture Bros episode "Fallen Arches" I believe it was, the Monarch forced a hooker to go through the maze of his flying cocoon to earn her freedom. She opened the wrong door and was greeted by "the polar bear from Lost!" Next question.
4. Who is your favourite ship from #6? (Inuyasha)
Oh geez. Now I wish I hadn't chosen Inuyasha for #6. XD Can I honestly say I like all the canon pairings pretty equally? I guess I do have a certain fondness for the Mir/San episodes though. My favorite platonic ships would be Sess+Rin and Jaken+Rin. In fact, I think I'm more interested in all the platonic relationships going on than any of the romantic ones. XD
5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be? (The Simpsons and Inuyasha)
Haha, how about teenage!Lisa with Hojo? They would go pretty well together I guess.
6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do? (Family Guy)
Heh. Um, I guess I'd play frisbee with Brian. Dogs like that sort of thing, right? XD Man, this meme is getting stupid. That's what I get for choosing cartoons. I can't help it. Most live-action shows bore me. I guess I should have chosen House instead.
7. If you could change one thing about #2's plotline, what would you change? (Frisky Dingo)
Um, I guess I wouldn't have had Killface fire Sinn. I like their zany interactions. I doubt she'll remain an Xtacle for long though. I hope she goes back to work for him. Who knows though? When Season 2 starts, maybe she'll be such a kickass Xtacle that I'll hope she never goes back.
8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #3, and why you like the relationship between them. (The Simpsons)
You know what? I've always thought the brother-sister relationship between Bart and Lisa was handled really cute. They're complete opposites, he's the underachiever, she's the overachiever, but they always look out for each other. And I think that's sweet. Awww.
9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #5 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be? (Venture Bros and Lost)
This is hard because I'm not sure either show really has a "lead title character". They're ensemble pieces. For the sake of argument, let's say Dr. Venture and Jack are the lead characters. I would totally save Dr. Venture first! XD I'm sorry, I've grown to like Jack a bit more over the years, but he's still one of my least favorite Lost characters. And Dr. Venture is freaking hilarious.
10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #6, what order would you choose? (Inuyasha)
This is a pointless question for Inuyasha. I'm not sure there's any sort of order anyway. (And in the American dub, they don't even show opening credits.) But of course Inuyasha should be first no matter what.
11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #4, what would the character be like and what would their role be? (Family Guy)
Ugh, I don't know. Family Guy doesn't have a serial storyline anyway. I think the show does a pretty good job of adding side characters for either one episode or the ones we see occassionally (Bertram, Olivia, Brian's new girlfriend--I forget her name. The one voiced by Drew Barrymore.)
12. What happens in your favourite episode of show #2? (Frisky Dingo)
My favorite episode is "XPO". Xander Crews sets up a fake inventor's contest to lure Killface out to get him to sign a release to use his likeness for action figures. Killface and his entourage drive out to the Las Vegas hotel ("I like to call it Lost Wages") and there they compete. They end up losing to Watley's ant farm keyboard invention. XD Watley (who's been transformed into a part lobster/crab creature) falls in love with Sinn at first sight, and gives her one of the ant farm keyboards, which Simon smashes up in the car. The ending shot has Killface and Sinn being covered in ants as they're driving and Killface asks, "Now who's for Denny's?" XD
13. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1, who would it be and how would you do it? (Venture Bros)
Oh man, I wouldn't kill off any of them! I love them all. Even Phantom Limb.
14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose? (The Simpsons or Lost)
You may think I'm crazy for giving up a free trip to Hawaii to see the Lost set, but I'm a lifelong Simpsons fan. How could I possibly give up the chance to see the animation studio or meet the writers or any of that?
15. So, I saved the best for last. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
Haha, hoo boy. I'd have to go with either Josh Holloway or Daniel Dae Kim from Lost. Dom Monaghan's a cutie too. Can I just have revolving dates with like most the guys from Lost? XD
