Regarding the latest news about Yamapi
I'm sure by now you've probably heard about Yamapi and Ryo leaving NEWS to focus on other activities. It's hard to accept, but we must respect both of their decisions, because they have the right to live their lives the way they choose. I think that a new 4-member NEWS will be able to shine brighter now that all of its members have similar star status, Ryo will thrive in Kanjani8 as always, and hopefully, Yamapi will do well in his solo activities.
To be sure, I will continue to translate Yamapi's 0409 column as long as he continues to write it. I have always liked Yamapi for who he is, not for the group he was in or even the quality of his work. I hope that in reading these columns you have also come to love his personality, the way he works so hard for what he loves, and how he thinks very seriously about his life and career.
I hope that you will continue to support him as a solo artist and in his future activities, and cherish ;) the memories you have of NEWS' time as a 6-, 8- and 9-member group.
