You're still hanging out with a cursed woman?

The Entertainment Weekly critic lamented that The Kingdom "unfortunately appeals to our jingoistic instincts" so of course I had to see it. I have to see everything that sound like it might just break Hollywood dogma. Friday Night Lights fans will see some familiar faces (one I'd like to break... just to give you a clue) and Peter Berg is ( Read more... )

Yeah, I didn't care much for The Kingdom. I even kind of started nodding off a couple of times, and that is a rarity. The review I said remarked that it was another Hollywood liberal saga in the veins of In the Valley of Elah, Syriana, etc., so I was kind of cringing about that, but it wasn't quite that bad for me in that respect. But I didn't like the ending (much in the same way I didn't In the Valley of Elah's). I just... don't like the implication that we're all the same and one side is just as good as the other. Coming from Americans that just seems a little strange. Way beyond politics, though, I thought it was too action-driven, which made it slightly boring to me.

FNL is a much better topic. ;) I'm on pins and needles for Friday Night (hee). Aww... Matt and Grandma. Have you seen the singing of Mr. Sandman yet? SIGH.

LOL. I guess it was somewhere in the middle.

The ending didn't work for me because... um... really? A character who is not a nutjob and seems to grasp nuances chooses THAT approach to confort a grieving colleague? I find it hard to suspend disbelief. The ending was also flat because... well... Jennifer Garner opens a door and there they are. After all that shooting and blowing shit up. It's just... anticlimactic.

I have seen it, just not the whole episode. I had to see THAT. *sigh*

Chris Cooper is always awesome. Never given a bad performance in his life.

I thought FNL was supposed to be on this past Friday? *is stupid* I searched for it...no could find. :( This week perhaps?

Of course you are still alive! Fuck that bitch! I am still so pissed over this! *breathes in and out......* YouTube has gotten an e-mail from me every single day! And I am NOT STOPPING. But I will stop ranting now. ;)

Oh, and Clauds if you would, link me to where she said the horrible things about Foxy at IMDB. I'm not familiar with that site (Not my loss it appears >.>) but I am, pursuing that with his management. They probably won't give a shit, but I sure as hell am gonna let them know about it.

*shuts up now*

It takes up his whole bulletin board. There are the threads she starts, and the threads started by others that she kills with her comments. Kick her off and she comes back with myriad other usernames. I doubt there's any way to stop it.

No, FNL premiers this friday. I can't wait.

I think you have more chances of banning her on YouTube, but whatever you do, please don't engage her, the moonbat craves that sort of attention.

I forgot my IMDB account details so I can't log in to the forum, but if you go here

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0289142/

you'll find what you're looking for. That site is huge and full of looneytunes so I don't know if the maintainers care.

I'm sorry she pissed you off, she just makes me laugh and also makes me uncomfortable for laughing at her because she's obviously suffering from a serious mental disease and it's tragic and I shouldn't laugh but pity her.

Um, you just declared your love for another fictional man, however platonically. AND the Played By the Same Dude rule is NOT in effect here. Get to the back of the Dr. Jack line, sweetheart! Woohoo! See if I ever allow you to paw him again!

Platonic SO counts. Especially if said other fictional dude is 16. I'm there in the front of the line, my paws firmly on his delicious toosh and there's NOTHING you can do about it. :p
