You're still hanging out with a cursed woman?
The Entertainment Weekly critic lamented that The Kingdom "unfortunately appeals to our jingoistic instincts" so of course I had to see it. I have to see everything that sound like it might just break Hollywood dogma. Friday Night Lights fans will see some familiar faces (one I'd like to break... just to give you a clue) and Peter Berg is directing.
It's... interesting. It wasn't that entertaining (I'm still hung up on 3:10 to Yuma for that), but it has its moments. Chris Cooper is always a class act and Jason Bateman became surprisingly less annoying as time went by.
Oh, and I'm still alive. I'm planning on enjoying the good life until October 31st. Carpe diem and all that. ;)
ETA: I'm watching my Friday Night Lights DVDs. Matty... I lurf him so. In a platonic way. I swear. :p But him and his grandmother are just... killing me.
