I guess my subject line kinda gives away my reaction to We Are Marshall, doesn't it?

I'm not going to write a review because I suck at those (I still have the 12 000 word Gladiator essay I wrote in AP English back in high school. Thank your lucky stars that you're spared!), but lemme get two things out of the way first:

I can't stop staring at that first picture... It has too many elements that conspire to turn me into goo. Black shirt, HAND on his mouth, THE LOOK in his eyes, etc...

I can't ever imagine a better way to wake up than Foxy pics, unless it's erm Foxy himself, but since that's kinda unlikely, then I'll have to stick to the pics.

Yes, about WAM, here is the problem I am having, I think it can be called Celebrity-Appreciation-Confusion-Syndrome. I know it's a good movie as far as reviews have been in terms of being a movie, and then you have the story itself and its importance and strength, and then there is Foxy's performance as an actor and his portrayal of a real person, BUT this is FOXY! I think I'll have to watch it twice, once for appreciating the movie, story and acting, and once (or more, I am not restricting myself here) just as a Foxhussy ;)

I love that no one gets up in the end. I've heard that from so many people and I've seen it happen myself twice now. I think it really shows the level of respect that people have for the tragedy of the story ( ... )

I actually never had high expectations for this fim *runs for cover* because its just not a type of film that I enjoy, real life, sports sort of thing. But I'm hearing such good things about it from people on my flist. Also you know, Foxy's in it. But its not even out here yet. Blast.

Yep, he really does. And Foxy mentions it in a recent interview in People magazine. He says: "God, that hurt!" Oh, Foxy... don't be such a wuss. It's different when you're on the receiving end, huh? I'd be much gentler... ;)
