Day 7. I woke up happy.
Not only did I wake up at 3 PM, which is happy-making in itself if you love to sleep as much as I do, but I woke up literally laughing out loud.
I had this dream that would make for a pretty awesome spy thriller pilot episode. From what I can gather, one minute, I was reading this EW-type magazine (and judging by how hard I rolled my eyes out at the article, it might have been Kristin) about this Not Sydney Bristow chick on TV and the next, I was IN that show, which, incidentally, also starred my Scottish boss as the head of the mysterious super spy Agency and the leader of our task force. I was some sort of meek logistical support type junior agent, so I was basically just lounging around at this empty lake resort where we were preparing our operation and it turns out it was in Lochness (what with my boss being Scottish and all). We moved on to London (I think) where all I can remember was that I was supposed to just be in a stakeout but things got really fucked up for the A Team so I went in and joined up with them and warned about teh BOMB that was going to explode. I remember I was struggling to get the cuffs on our suspect, what with me being a geeky junior agent and all, but the Not Sydeny Bristow superspy wasn't very helpful, I don't know wtf she was doing, but she wasn't helping. Fortunately, her cute male counterpart with whom she probably had hot forbidden sexual tension came over to help me handcuff the perp (lemme tell you, I had impressive upper body strenght for a geek) and then he started talking to me in Pashtun so the enemy spy wouldn't understand. I don't know how I knew it was Pashtun, I just know it was, or why he assumed an enemy super spy like us didn't speak the 120 languages we probably spoke, but he got his point across about how "See, kid? Not bad for your first day on the job" and we hightailed it out of there. Two bombs exploded right after we safely made our way out of the building and I think by the time the phone rang, I was already aware it was a dream because I was laughing even before I woke up properly.
