Um... so on Day 5, yesterday, I was happy cause the fugly cold rain was replaced by snow, which I haven't seen since January 2007 when we went skiing in Maryland. Thinking of last snow-less winter makes me miss SoCal so bad.

Hee. I like the Festivus idea a lot. It solves plenty dilemma.

You've got snow! I'm so jealous. We don't have any here and they say it won't snow this year or the next year or pretty much EVER again because the climat has changed. *weeps* Hopefully not so much in Zakopane!

We hardly ever get snow that lasts down here in the south-west, even though it's not as pretty as California, but it actually stayed on the ground for Christmas this year.

There'll probably be fake snow in Zakopane for the ski competition so at least there's that. :D
