Can I just fastforward to next year, pls?
1. We're doing Secret Santa for our Christmas party on Friday and I'm Santa for my very female colleague who has a platonic crush on me. I'm not complaining because she's sweet and easy to shop for and easy to make it personal since we're friends, but still... I wanted to be someone else's Santa, dammit! I guess I *am* complaining afterall... I'm not a Christmas-y person. At all. Last year I had a great time all by lonesome self on a whalewatching cruise on the Pacific outside of San Diego bay, chatting with a nice couple from Arizona. It was excellent, but it was just another day off. I need to find me a non-Christmasy activity for this year.
2. OMFG, Dexter writers, I hate you for that LAME gotcha! I kept waiting to see the Skinner pop out of the celophane walls at the end and take pictures of Dexter with the body or something, but... nada.
3. New Big Bang Theory episode to dl... I'm working late on my second (part-time, meaning every now and then) job so that will be greatly appreciated when I get home.
4. The Amazing Race was... well... the winning team was fine, I would have been OK with the other one as well, but good God that finale sucked. They spazzed around town and then they... took a cab to the final mat. OK then.
I still can't wait for TAR14 though.
