I am really shocked at the number of poeple whose first impression of me was completely incongruous to the mental projection I have of myself.
Overwhelmingly, people seem to think upon meeting me that I am some
Earthmother, tree-hugging hippie, although they have no specific reason for this impression. Even J, when I brought it up, said "yeah, you had this hippie vibe that kind of...I don't know, wore off as time when on." When I ask if it was something specific, the answer is "No, nothing specific. You just seemed really earthy and natural, like a big hippie."

Look, I have no beef specifically with the *hippie* lifestyle, but this is totally incongruous to the mental projection I have of myself, and there seems to be no origin to it?
