I'm still alive and kickin
Hey everyone out there in LJ land! I haven't fallen off the face of the planet just been working a ton of different shifts and work has been crazy busy lately. So where to start?!? Hmmm... Life is pretty good. I got my annual raise at work which was awesome then I took my technician certification test and when I get my certificate that says I passed I will get another little raise so that will be pretty great. I also got asked by my boss to be on this group that works on pharmacy workflow and problems in the pharmacy and stuff so basically that means I get paid to sit in a conference room for 8hrs a day for 4 days and voice my opinion on how things could be done better around here. So I'm kinda excited about that.
I'm ready for my weekend off this weekend even though I'm going to be busy pretty much the entire thing. Friday is a low key day, have to work 6am to 2:30pm then naptime, then who knows, maybe a movie. Then saturday I am going with Bryan to the Wolford Christmas party in the afternoon, then he's having a little party type thing that night and we are going to watch Dane Cook on SNL which should be absolutely hilarious. That brings us to Sunday, Bryan and I are going to find a christmas tree for the Anderson house b/c my dad has developed a hernia and has to have surgery on the 14th so he can be out cutting down and lifting 7ft trees. I think we are probably going to go visit with his mom afterward since she does live practically across the street from the tree farm so that should be nice.
On a depressing note I have to work both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2nd shift. I'm really bummed about it. I love christmas and I love being with the people I love and watching them open the gifts I bought for them. I like giving people presents just as much as I like getting them. But I guess life goes on,there is always next year.
