(no subject)
Well hello world!!!
Been a crazy few weeks. Dora decided she wanted to die and then revive herself and live elsewhere (My Explorer for those who don't know). So I had to buy myself a 'new' car. She is a Malibu. She has no name yet so suggestions are welcome. Some of the contenders so far: Margaritta, Marie, Mel, Manage (sound it out kids), and Matt.... that was suggested while drinking so we won't do that to Matthew.
Work is still great. I love what I do each night even on nights that I am tired, hungry, or mad. It is really rewarding in a cheesy afterschool special way so I won't detail it here.
I watched Garden State for the first time ever last weekend. I had listened to the soundtrack before when Ryan let me borrow it and I HATED it. Now... I am addicted. I asked Garrison when the movie was over if it depressed him and left him feeling like he understood exactly what they meant... his answer was no. So this led me to believe that I may be crazy and perhaps some one is spiking my drink with lithium :) No really though... I loved that movie and I did relate to it a lot. Strange.
I have officially eaten in my apartment three times now. I made myself a turkey sandwich two days ago... watch out Anderson restaurant industry... I'm cheating on you.
Someone said this sentence to me the other day: "Amanda, you have an amazing group of friends and I am almost jealous." I would have to agree that you all are pretty awesome :)
In other news, I miss Patty and Holly, but the good news is that they will be living together come fall so I can come to Btown and visit them both at the same time 24/7.
In even cooler news... I'm going to Tennessee in October to visit the school I was supposed to be attending this fall. I'm actually going to visit Kiel not the school.... although I am going to sneek into a Soundtrack Design class... and find me a cute southern man to man-handle ;)
Ok I'm off today so I have to clean the shit hole that other people call my apartment. I love spending my entire day off cleaning... oh well. Dirt happens.
