So, I'm reading Chelsea Handler's Book Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea and there is this hilarious chapter with her babysitting at the age of 12, but everyone thinks she's 16. When she gets to the house, the mom is very controlling and gives her this long list of instructions. One of them is not to let her son have sugar. Here's the exchange:
"He's a sugar addict."
"Does he go to meetings?"
It cracked me up. Being privy to the sarcastic voice is Chelsea's head is great, and I might use that little exchange in a story, because the sarcasm was just perfect.
I didn't used to be a fan of her's or anything until I caught an episode of her show recently when I couldn't sleep. She is crazy! But seriously, this woman is comedic gold. So funny.
