You know how I always say I hate people because people are stupid?

Well, it's not their fault. The generalized American psyche makes us irrational, yet tricks us into thinking we're not. It's the perfect crime.

I agree.

The myth of privatization overlooks the overtly public role that government funding (Medicare, Medicaid) plays in this convoluted industry.

I also believe that the current system of insurance company 'interference' forces government prices up to cover those who aren't in their 'web of exploitation' (wow, with all these catch phrases I should be on Fox News!).

Sigh. A lot of work to be done.
