You know how I always say I hate people because people are stupid?
Well, it's not their fault. The generalized American psyche makes us irrational, yet tricks us into thinking we're not. It's the perfect crime.

I admit that my hatred for doctors generally and the medical 'machine' (insurance companies, hospital administrations, pharmaceutical corporations) specifically makes this one seem particularly relevant.
Seriously, though, Republicans made up the the whole "voting with your wallet" thing, right? And the Democrats are about the whole "help others help themselves" deal, yes? With some federal effort and budget restructuring, we can have it both ways.
