To be honest I was pretty confused myself back then. You're right, I
had always
loved Constance, but at the time I hadn't been able to talk to her for
various
reasons for almost a year and was starting to wonder. So I wasn't
entirely sure
what to do when I met you. I was kind of divided, but eventually I
decided to
wait and see. It turned out for the best. Who knows where things could
have
gone if I had looked the other way, I'm not even going to think about
it since
it's such a mess of possibilities and my head is already starting to
hurt just
thinking about thinking about it.

Anyway, I don't have any problems with you contacting me as a friend,
it's
always nice to keep in touch and God only knows I have few enough
normal
friends as it is. (One of the drawbacks of being home-schooled I
guess.)

How's your life going anyway? Still at UCLA? Find someone special yet?
