yeeeeaaaauuuuuhhhhhh
today was great,i woke up and went to the library, i get this therapeutic feeling being surrounded by quiet, small spaces and stuffy old books, the murmur of newly acquired intelligence wafting through the air as the only sound, outside of that rock star dude who chnecks out the books up front, god does he hate his job! oh well.
anyway, after that i went to hutch's jamaican bbq across the street, cuz i had never been in there, and really didnt want to leave without going in there ... and my day from then on has pretty much been THE BOMB!!!
the cook, was the only jamaican guy in the place and was SO FUCKING HAPPY to see another jamaican he made me a HUGE HUGE plate of rice and peas, garlic potatoes, jerk chicken, and some chicken linguini. oh, with a garlic cheese role ... and omg, it was the most orgasmic meal ever. this guy hooked my plate up, and i DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR IT and it was completely FREEEEEE!!!!!!!!
whoowhoowhoo!!! so his name is hilford, and he wants me to start working there, sort of, on sundays, cuz they have reggae bands and drinks and stuff and he's really happy to see another jamaican in california. so imma start hanging about down there. he said he cant hire me if im only there on sundays, but i can pick up tips and he'll show me how to cook a bunch of stuff, so AWESOME!!
and i stood up to dave and let him know, he cant break up with on wednesday, and then TAKE all the love i can give cuz "he really needs the attention and affection i give him". i cant do that shit, i can be your friend, or your lover, there's no in between of "ok, i want u to love me, turn the love on" and a day or so later of "turn it off, i dont want to feel responsible towards you".
so i let him know that, and he said we'd talk about it today, cuz he's willing to work on it, for me. so i feel good about that.
