I liked the episode, I hate Eric's short hair, I'm still freaked that Pam doesn't fit my mental image (for some reason, even though the books have her as a blonde, I've always thought of her with short, chin length black hair).
Lafayette was awesome, though I almost threw up at the leg bit. I also enjoy how they're doing more with Terry - he's a bit lost in the books.
Have you read the latest Sookie book? I'm waiting to see how the whole Jason story line and the rest of Sookie's new revelations will play out.
And yes, Jason's a dick, but at least he doesn't seem to be as malicious and self serving in the show (just stupid) as in the books.
Yeah, I actually think that Pam was pretty much like I pictured her in the books, except that they haven't put her in one of her J Crew knit sets.
Ah Lafayette. I LOVED the leg scene, because THAT is desperation, and I wanted to see it.
I have read the latest Sookie book, and I was kinda let down. Not as let down as I was about the latest Anita Blake book, which I am still slogging through. I feel asleep with it on my face last night. I remember when I used to stay up all night reading them. Now? It's like Ativan.
I really wish we could have the Jason werepanther plot line.

See I had to stop myself from actively looking for a download copy and wait for the hard copy I bought from Amazon. Once it arrived, I ripped it open and had the whole thing read in a matter of three hours. It was as gripping as some past ones, but, I think with the whole vamp marriage angle, the next book should be back on track with the original storyline again.
It felt very much like a transitions book... she needed to tie up some ends, and has done so. Still... there is a scary ass Jason look-a-like running around, that should bite someone on the ass soon... and poor Sam needs a woman.
Oh, I don't know. I think the books are different enough from the show that they can both be rockingly good on their own, but if the books start to suck, we shouldn't hide the truth.

And yeah... it was BFII. I just hope book 10 goes back to being good. Else the show might just replace the books (yeah I know, blaspheme).
