I just want to share with you what I think is one of the most beautiful parts of winter - the blue hour. The hour before sunrise or after sunset the world turns blue. I've just been enjoying the blue light outside and then I remembered I actually took a picture a few days ago, to show you guys. Because if you don't experience it, it's hard to believe that the world actually turn that blue. At the moment the blue light is lifting, and there's a faint glow along the horizon, well along the hills at least. I don't see the horizon... ;-)
This is the view from our veranda towards the south-west. The picture is not enhanced in any way, it's just the way it is - though the colour gets intensified by the snow. Pretty, isn't it?
Maybe Chagall had noticed the blue hour too? He's got some wonderful blue paintings...
