Holy posting Batman! Here I am again. I honestly didn't think I would ever make another entry to this journal. In fact, I came close to deleting everything several times, but for some odd reason it keeps lingering. Perhaps because most of what I wrote about took place at a very pivotal point in my life. Any way, I digress.
None of which I'm about to post will be in chronological order. I'll just go over the highlights of my life as my brain allows.
Firstly, I got a job!!! Yessiree, I am the newest employee of Atlanta Movement Radio, an online radio station. My official title is Artist Coordinator which basically means I scout new talent, sign them up for radio play and gigs and if they're really good, promote them to various record labels. DREAM JOB! For the most part, I get to work from home, and in my pajamas if I so choose.
I'm still on Effexor but I've been weaning myself off of it due to the fact that we can't afford Rick's company sponsored health insurance ($470/month). I'm now taking 37mg every other day and so far I've been feeling okay. I don't have much of a choice at this point in time anyway.
Meg is no longer attending high school. We withdrew her mainly because the local high school sucks ass and she just wasn't thriving there. She now takes online classes and is doing quite well. My boys are well...boys. Cory's voice changed and now he sounds and looks like a grown man. Jake just recently turned 11 and is full of attitude as usual.
Rick is still in the comic biz although the paying projects have dried up for now. Luckily for us he has a decent paying job which carries us through (by the skin of our teeth, but we're surviving).
Let's see, what else? Oh, the economy sucks big monkey balls, we're behind on our bills and mortgage, Megan smashed my beloved Durango into our stone encased mailbox, I still need to lose weight and we've gained two more mouths to feed (Meg's boyfriend and another dog). Never a dull day around here for sure.
So there ya have it....my life in a nutshell for the time being. I'm now off to try and catch up on your lives.
