I wear my wedding and engagement rings every day (ritual), and I also wear a "wedding necklace," which was a present from my sister for me and Leigh--we have matching silver necklaces with little hearts and flowers, they are super cute. But it means, functionally, that my neck and hands are already "occupied" for jewelry all. the. time. This means I can't wear pretty necklaces, without taking off my wedding necklace! Obviously this causes angst!
I also wear earrings whenever I'm "dressed up." So, since I'm traveling for work, I've got three pairs packed.
I also frequently wear a glasses chain, because my glasses don't fit. This does cause some awkwardness, because glasses chain + dangly earrings + earphones = many things hanging from my ears.
Also, I'm having a weird moment. I apparently have lost some weight? (I am sort of doing health-related things, but it's all complicated.) So now, all the shirts that didn't fit a few months ago fit again. FUCK YEAH BUTTONDOWN SHIRTS AGAIN, that's all I have to say about that.
OK. Need to finish packing. And cook my family food to eat while I'm gone, so they don't starve and eat take out.
