My week's holiday was an enjoyable excursion involving ancient sights, cheap kebabs, rare spices, mosques bigger than Xboxes, and folk trying to swindle you on every corner. I may post the photos somewhere if I can get them off my mother's camera.
Oh, and I did buy a fez.
Unfortunately, my mobile fell into Turkish hands on the way back home. Any of you whose number I have on there (at my count, this would include nick_wilson, dracko, mr_mitts and timlewis) will probably be receiving death threats cursing them in Turkish for the fall of the Ottoman Empire if they have not done so already.
In other news, it's my birthday tomorrow. I had wanted to remain twenty-one indefinitely but I've just been informed that this is sadly not a possibility. Fie.
