so Prem Prayojana and Krsna Candra were in the area for 4 days and held some programs.
I just wanted to say that I have never ( and I don't mean katha like Gurudeva is giving, which is really cleansing the heart) heard such amazing presentations about KC. Never. I couldn't believe how it all clicked.
He gave a one hour class about the philosophical divisions in India and what Mahaprabhus contribution was-amazing. What to speak about his analysis of all the songs we sing. He spoke one hour about "Jaya Jaya sundara Nanda-Kumara" by Rupa Goswami. Again-mind blowing. And then we had a program in my town at a yoga school and he spoke about mantra and sound. That was it.It was the tip of the iceberg. Absolutely brilliant.
I looked at my friend Tarun Govinda during class and we just looked at each other with open mouths.
Prem's view on Gaudiya Vaisnavism is absolutely necessary for us in the west. People listen to this and think-he that makes sense.
I tried and get the classes and send them to you individually. Unless you don't like to hear from him because of his past...which I have no problem with.
I thought of Mahesvara in that one class about mantras, because he gave an linguistic approach to sound and words and explained that the word gay for example meant friendly a few decades ago...and many other examples proving that our language changes. So i thought of the word rape, thinking of Mahes problem with that one purport by Prabhupada. Rape had a completely different meaning a few years back. .... so bad he never looked at it that way.
