hello from the great white north
Yesterday when I got into Toronto there wasn't any snow - and it was fairly warm (compared to the negative temperatures in Saint Paul, anyway). I was glad I chose not to deal with my coat on the plane, and just wore a sweatshirt.
Things changed overnight, however! It is white out there - but it doesn't look like the 4 inches they were calling for. Good thing I knew that I still had an old winter jacket at my parents' house. It might be needed when I get to Kitchener - there tends to be more snow there than in Toronto.
Last night I went for dinner with Cory, Joe, Karen, and Glen. We went to this great diner called the Lakeview that had just been renovated. I had a yummy burger and poutine. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera... I need some recent pictures of my Toronto people!
Mom is coming to get me now... I think we will shop for a bit and then head back to K-town. Bye for now!
