Wow, time is flying by... it was already two weeks ago that my parents came to visit. We went to the MOA, Ren Fest, and the apple orchard. Mmm, honeycrisp apples! (And apple cider donuts!) They also met Leah's parents - we went to church with them and then back to their place for lunch. Despite my being a little nervous about that, everything was fine, mostly because we met so many people and there were so many people there for lunch that it was really busy and time went quickly. Then we went to see the 35W bridge collapse (it was my first time there as well), and then Joe came over and played Trivial Pursuit with us. By Monday morning they already had to leave. Their flight was delayed for some reason, causing them to miss their connection in Chicago, but the airline was actually on top of things and had them booked on another flight even before they took off.
