update part 1 of x
I haven't had time to post in SO long, so I'm just going to do what I can. Since I am currently listening to my new live Ani CD (recorded in Portland on my birthday in 2004), I will start with the fact that not only did I go to an Ani concert last Friday, but I also (thanks to crowjane!) got to see her first ever poetry reading the day before, and got an autographed copy of the book. It was so very cool to be there, and in the 2nd row no less! Unfortunately my phone takes pretty crappy pictures, and I was trying to be inconspicuous.
When she asked for requests I yelled out "The Slant" and she did it, and then said that it was very fitting because she wrote it after going to a poetry reading.
