Not long to go
Dave and I are in nesting mode. Baby's cotbed and moses basket are all ready for him. We've arranged all his toys and the cute little mobile for him. All sheets are ironed and clothes have been washed. Nappies are ready, TENS machine ordered and some last minute stuff has been done. Now, it is a wait and see game. He is due 26 July, but I think it will be earlier. We have our hospital bag packed and the baby has his bag all packed.
Poor Dave has badly hurt his back trying to do the garden and has been signed off work for a few weeks. I hope it gets better in time for the birth of his son!
I cannot wait, but I know Dave is on pins and needles and has been especially attentive and loving towards me. I know he is worried about the upcoming birth and scared things will go wrong. But, I am sure all will go well even though I've been told they will do an early epidural...YIKES!!! I am so not into having someone put needles near my spine, but was told medically it needs to be done due to the risk of a c-section.
So, an eviction notice has been served on our son. He is not allowed to stay in longer than 26 July because his mommy wants her body back!
