Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!!!
Of course, being its Halloween, today was one of the easier days at work. With my little buddy Tiny today, we had the Halloween Show in the morning, then our Halloween class party, lunch, recess, grade level Halloween party, special (which was library) and then its time to go home. Not a single inch of work to do all day long! Now thats what I call a nice day at work! Too bad others in the building were going... insane I guess would be the best word. The other teachers and aids in the classroom were going nuts today, trying to fit in all the different things that need to be done. Tiny and I though just took it easy, and that was the smart thing to do. Come the end of the day, with everyone in a rush to get to the busses (and they got out there a bit early too) we took our time. Good thing too cause the class forgot their pumpkins that they decorated, the first graders forgot their projects from the grade party in the afternoon, the second graders forgot their goodybags from their afternoon grade party, and random kids forgot their folders, notebooks, and other projects that were to go home today. Only Tiny had everything and went home with it all.
One other thing for the day, for those that drive, please be careful out there! One of the bus drives (in a rush) almost hit the gym teacher this morning while he was directing traffic NOT to go around another bus that had its lights on and unloading students. Later in the day, a ton of parents were being reckless and parking in fire zones on the school property instead of parking up the hill, on the street. Take it easy out there everyone, cause I know I dont want to go to school in the morning and find out some one got hurt. Otherwise, have a great Halloween everyone!
