Another big time update
Well, this is going to be one interesting post since a bunch of things have happened recently and not a single one anyone here is going to expect... including myself.
Well, I'll start on the job side of things. As of Monday, August 28, I am no longer working at the school district as a teaching assistant any more. After all the asking around to be transfered to a different position I am still assigned to the same student as last year. I contacted ever person I though would be able to help in the situation and never heard back from any of them, even after I try contacting them once again. Well, I'm done with that and so I resigned. As for what I'm currently doing, I signed up with some Temp agencies in the area (two of them to be exact in five different location) in an effort to get some expecience in an office environment.
Moving on, now to the job search. As one could probably figure out, I have not heard a single thing from any school districts about a job for the coming school year. Well, I decided to give up being a teacher. I've searched for over three years for a job as a teacher and I'm tired of it all and getting no where. I decided it's time to stop searching and move on to other things so I'm not wasting my entire life searching for a job that I'm never going to get unless I move south or go to a middle school position in NYC. So, instead of teaching, I decided that I'm going to try for something in the business world. I applied at some different Temp agencies to get expecience and contacts in the office environment.
In other news, I'm going back to college, for the third time over. This time its at the local community college. I'm taking two classes in the business program. One of them is Bookkeeping 101 so that could gain some knowledge in that area and use it with the Temp agencies or a permanant job that I might get. Past that, I'm also looking at an MBA program at a different local college to possibly go back to that school and get my Masters degree there.
