There are bits of me here
I 've been absent and I'm not sure who is still around. So this is a toe-testing post.
This past week in Seattle it's been so so so hot. We broke all of our records by getting officially to 103 degrees. Seattleites aren't good with temperature extremes, neither are we equipped--many weren't prepared even with simple fans. One nearby community hit 112 degrees. We are a temperate, seaside clime!! So come on!! Enough!!
Other than that I've been hugely involved in the health care debate. I went to Washington DC twice representing small businesses that support health care reform. I'd love to rest as I've been at it for a couple of years and I do have a business to run---but these last days are critical so one really can't. Rest.
