Yay, my kid is coming home for Spring break today-and we are going to have a mighty fine week of evening walks and talks to coffee shops and hours of watching her downloads of The Mighty Boosh, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Project Runway and Dr. Who.
The girl is heavily into British television (no, not Project Runway--but the others are British). When I was in college, so was I, but it was Monty Python and later Faulty Towers and Masterpiece Theater and whatever else our public television was offering.
Over Christmas I got an introduction to Noel Fielding and Russel Brand. There is more to come!! I generally appreciate her tastes, so it should be fun.
So happy she is coming home!!! She has the best mind and heart. I love the way words come out of her mouth. So full of insight and compassion. Of course I'm biased. But she does. She does she does she does have a fine mind and heart. :)
