So, it's been quite a bit since my last post... I finished that May-June novel thing I was writing... Yep yep.  50,086 words, I think it was.  It was a good story, methinks.  I was going to get the proof copy, but the website that offered them was starting to get on my nerves, so I just decided to wait.
