Aww! This was gorgeous :) What a lovely dog is Una!

Sweetest dog ever. We were joking this morning about our pets' super powers. Our kitty, Luke, has the ability to see ninjas (that other people can't see), which is why he's always attacking things. Una, we decided, has the ability to get in your face no matter where you are. After we said this, Una popped up on my husband's side of the bed and rested her head on his shoulder. I laughed so hard I had a coughing fit!

Probably. I wonder sometimes just how much English she understands.

I think dogs understand a lot more than they let on ;-) (for example, mine knows full well what "stay" means, which is why he doesn't do it LOL)

Supposedly, dogs can understand up to 50 words. However, many of Una's words are bound to be my various nicknames for her, such as Fluffernutter, Spanky, and the ever popular Boo-Boo.

I also sing to her, "What's up Fluffybutt? Whoa, whoa, whoa? What's up Fluffybutt? Whoa, whoa, whoa? Fluffybutt, Fluffybutt, I love you. Yes, I do. You and your fluffy butt, too." She gets all wiggly.

If I'm like this with my dog, I'm sure I'm going to be absolutely insipid with my baby!
