After my Kindle died, I opted to play Spore on my new MacBook. I don't think I've emphasize how much I love this new machine. I not this now because I can comfortably use it on my tray table. This isn't really anything special, as any laptop 13" or less in size can do just the same. I'm jsut glad I was able to downgrade from my MacBook Pro to a MacBook.
The real reason why I love this machine is actually something that I wasn't expecting when I purchased it - the aluminum enclosure. Apple was really trying to sell this at their last event, but I wasn't really buying. I mean, it lack seams, that's only an aesthetic, right? It's not.
The laptop feels solid. I mean, really solid, unlike any other laptop you've ever used before. Anything else feels like a toy. I feel like I don't need to worry about how I handle it, I don't need to fear of breaking the case. It's something that you really need to hold in your hands and use for a half hour before you really get it.
