Hey everyone!!!! I'm back!! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated or anything...for those of you who didn't know I was in New York City for 9 days...it was a very fun and exhausting trip but I'm so glad to be home.

Let me just tell you a few of the fun things that I did while I up there....

First off, I went with my parents and we stayed at the Avalon Hotel which was a block away from the Empire State Building and we were able to see that as soon as we walked outside of the hotel...it was gorgeous.

I was able to see Phantom of the Opera (Don't hate me all of you theater buffs!) It was extremely wonderful and I recommend seeing it if you haven't...and a lot of the people I talked to that had seen the show and the movie say that the show is a kagillions time better. I haven't seen the movie yet but when I do I'll give my own opinion of it. The same day I saw Phantom, my parents and I stayed in Time Square to check out the sites. We saw the Hershey store, Toys R Us, ABC studios, and one of my personal favorites the MTV Store. After that we ate at this place called John's Pizzeria...and let me just say I almost died because it was the best f*cking pizza I have ever eaten in my whole entire life...it was soooo cheesy and ooey an gooey and our waitress was so nice...she has to have been the nicest person in New York City...my mom and I wanted to taste some New York Cheesecake so we ordered one and the lady said that the she paid for it...and let me just say that for those of you who've been to New York you know that nothin' ain't cheap over there...so the cheesecake was about $10 to $12 that we didn't have to pay for. It was exquisite.

Anyways, I was also able to see St. Patricks Cathedral which was just absolutely beautiful...it's funny because in New Orleans everyone raves about the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square...but...I can tell you that the St. Louis Cathedral is NOTHING compared to St. Patricks. The St. Louis Cathedral isn't even half the size of St. Patricks. It was so cool because I'm walking down one of the many busy streets in New York and all of a sudden there is a Church in the middle of all of these high rise buildings. That same day I saw some fun stores such as Armani Exchange, Versace, Prada, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and of course...Tiffany's. My Mom bought something from Tiffany's it was probably the cheapest thing they have there. It's that charm bracelet that like everyone has. My mom wanted to buy it for me as a graduation present but in my mind I think there are better ways to spend $125 on a piece of jewelry. Yes, I'm sure all of you are like wtf why didn't you let your Mom buy it...but the thing is with that money my mom could buy me clothes or even better...a new cell phone which is what I definitely need right now. My family and I spent atleast an hour in Tiffany's looking around...we went to the engagement and wedding ring floor...yes floor...they have one floor dedicated to only those things. It's okay to dream a little. lol And the ring that I fell in love with could possibly put me through college. lol

Okay so here is why I was sorta annoyed on the trip...the same day I saw all of those stores and what not we made our way to the Plaza Hotel...okay so how many people remember the movie Home Alone 2??? Anyone?? Well, when I was little I would watch that movie religiously! Anf if anyone who has seen or it or remembers it the main character...Kevin, stays in the Plaza Hotel which is one of the most expensive hotels in New York City...and the building is very very distinct and you can tell what it is froml ike 3 blocks away so we walk up to the building and I walk in...and all of a sudden I look in what used to be the receptionist area..and all I see is beds, armoires (spelling??), lamps, work out machines, tv's, chandeliers....and I turn to my mom and I go "This must be the wrong hotel...where are all of the bellmen, and the receptionist people??" So we ask this bitchy lady up that was there and she's like "Well, for those of you who didn't hear...the Plaza Hotel is under complete renovation and will be opened in April of 2007 as part hotel part condominiums." My mouth dropped. I was so pissed!! The one thing that I had really been dying to see...was shattered. lol And it get's even worse...this hotel is right across from Central Park...so we walk there after the Plaza...and all I smell is urine...human urine...and for all of you who live in New Orleans...you know the difference between human urine...and animal urine...this was human urine times infinity to the infinity power...and it was horrible my parents and I were gagging. It smelled and looked worse than even Bourbon Street...during Mardi Gras. It was pretty bad guys...and I'm not over exaggerating but I guess you can't always have that mind set of everything being so perfect.

Well, let me take a break from this and I'll be back soon to update more...I haven't even gotten to the Chinatown part yet which is funny as Hell.
