This was a pair of clownfish that I observed snorkeling in the reef in front of my family's beachhouse. All in all, I think I saw about 6 different clownfish pairs and their host anemones on that trip. I took this video as the tide was ebbing. This meant two things, these were going to be in shallower waters and that it would be more difficult for me to control my movement because i wouldn't want to touch the corals.
The female clownfish kept on investigating the camera and my hand, and actually nipped at my hand and the camera. Clownfish, a type of damsel fish, are known to be very territorial, and guard their territories very aggressively. Hence, the nipping.

This was taken before I took the first video. This was at the peak of high tide, and this was in deeper water, maybe about 7 to 10 feet. There are a variety of corals and fish, and the camera I was using (Olympus uTough 8000) can't do it justice. I'm thankful I have a real waterproof and shockproof camera though, unlike previously I had to use a waterproof case.
Since it would be very difficult for me to have an aquarium here, I am glad that I still have the reefs out front. I have my own personal HUGE aquarium that I know I'll never get tired of. :-)
