Refocused
I had a little low spell as always around finals time, but I seem to be bouncing back pretty well the last two days. I have exactly a week left of classes, and am really only worried about one class, my Logic. I really hope I pass, but it's not looking good. I have a pretty good chance of getting an A in all my other classes, and I'm going for all As and one C. I'm really trying to step up in the coming week. I'm on my last day of steroids which helps a whole bunch too.
I'm still pretty anti-social, but I'm ok with it. Since giving up on Grinnell I've neglected my Grinnell Friends, which is unfortunate. (Fiona: I was thinking of spending a long weekend over break in Indiana in early Jan. Let me know what your planS are. It's been such a long time, a yr in fact. too long.)
I'm excited abt Lake Forest again. Looking forward to being challenged again. I'm pretty sure that I want to do an independent major in human development, but I'm going to spend break in the COD library reading books until I figure it out. My goals for the comming year: practice, practice, practice my spanish verbal and listening skills, land an internship or research experience for this coming summer, perform really well in my classes next semester, make 5 new friends.
I WANT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR CHRISTMAS AND WILL SPEAR ANYONE WHO TRIES TO GIVE ME SOMETHING, BECAUSE I'M NOT GIVING OUT GIFTS. I'M SAVING MY MONEY TO PAYING FOR MY COLLEGE EDU. AS SHOULD U.
