Back to reality. Summer's over, my camping vacation is over, school has started. Not that I ever felt a real escape from reality this summer, but now even the weather agrees with phasing out the dreaminess. Camp was fantastic, as usual. Though it started off a little rough...to say the least..
"Amy, it's just like Judge Judy in here!"
" What does it mean to have in internal hold on my debit card?Bank meeting?"
So we left seven hours behind schedule, and on the drive up through curvy mountain roads it started downpouring. Epic rain, and streaking lightning. So it's dark out, thundering and pouring, and were supposed to set up a tent. Ummmm...not so much. What else could go wrong? Oh, uh....Cj, did you know that NOBODY is here??? Hahah just our luck amy...but it all worked out, thank god for that hide a key. Lots of important life lessons learned though...how to pitch a tent in complete darkness, how to make a perfect mudslide(helping white people dance) as i think we proved during our rendition of the electric slide and the non descriptive dance to love shack.Best dancers there by far. Amy we need to print out those pictures...'nanny with a fanny' ugly girl or pretty guy? "Because I'm that good" <---haha. As always, cj, steve, amy...good times.
cold nights/hot mornings in a tent, tv theme songs by a campfire, glitter in the bunkhouse, miss swampland,a muddy moose burger, the electric slide on a basketball court, english pizza, and the insanity of labor day...things you can only truly understand after youve gone to ossipee.Until next year...
leaving is always so much harder when its the last weekend of summer...
