Mon., the 8th: I looked cute in my flirty white skirt and pink polo. Quite girly. Got to work. Had some coffee and a Nutra-grain bar. Usual routine of surfing the web for a good portion of the morning. Jillian called so we chatted for awhile. Called a bunch of work study people...did a phone interview (not sure if I want that one, though--I have to be a mentor...haha, I know--me? A mentor?!) and I set up an in-person one for the 1st day of classes. I would just do basic clerical duties, I am assuming. This would be in the financial aid office. I worked on Tuesday's log which was effortless. Then I put tapes away from master control and took the UPS lost tapes to be dubbed. Gah, that is really annoying that an entire box of tapes is MIA and Discovery wants us to resend them--even though they're relocating to Sterling in less than a month. Whatever. Getting home was a pain in the ass. The slightest breeze and my skirt wished to fly up so I had to bunch it in my hand as I walked. Haha, I looked way cool. At home, didn't do a whole lot. Updated is all I'm able to remember at this point.
Yesterday: Work was pleasant again. I pulled the carted tapes from the purge list. The log was fine, too. Gainey helped me find out if Discovery wanted the tapes copied as they are or if we could be efficient and put multiple reels on a single tape. To my dismay--it was the former. Made phone calls concerning work study again. Gave Sarah a call and it was cool...we talked for over a half hour (wow..I sound like a complete slacker at work!). We're both eager to do well in school. I was able to catch the earlier bus home, yay. That's always fun. Jen swung by since she was off and we were going to watch Love Actually but noo....my DVD player is dumb and can't read DVD-Rs. Instead, we talked about various shit. I wanna go camping with her sometime soon...and I can't wait until she visits me in Greeley! I was totally calm and collected but damn her! I got all, "twitterpainted" as she likes to say, haha. Hung out until about 1 then I hit the hay.
