I Just Wanna Dance!

Happy 4th of July!!

Friday, July 1st: Got to use my bus pass. Gotta pay my mom back for it..blah. Well, one dude on the bus said something to me as I was getting off at my stop for work--I have no idea what he said since I was listening to music (are people that oblivious to the fact I am listening to headphones? Last time I checked--I never used invisible ones). So I just smiled and walked off, lol. Shit, I felt dumb again! Somehow, on the log I did the previous day--some programs were :30 over. >_< That, and I put black in two spots right before a hard start. Gah. At least Laura was really cool about it. It was hella busy. I was pulling tapes and putting them away like the entire morning. I was passing by some guys who were just standing about loitering...I was pushing a cart full of tapes and just said hello politely. As I was down the hall, they acted as if I were deaf or something--"Man! She is happenin'!" and another guy says, "Yeah...she is". Haha, boys make me laugh. Laura talked me through loading two logs into the Louth system so that was enlightening. She is unbelievably cool. I felt like we bonded a lot. Talked about her kids quite a bit. Seems like a great mom. Yeah, was swamped during lunch again so I ate while entering new ISCI codes. Even though it was busy, it wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. I got out of work on time, heck yes.

I met Jasmine downtown. I was way stoked since I hadn't seen her for a good month or two. It was great to hang out with her again. Walked around for awhile until we sat down at Johnny Rocket's because I had a mad craving for chili cheese fries. It's funny how we're the same age and our lives are completely different. She's engaged, already living with her significant other...I am...well, less than engaged, lol...and heading back to school soon. But I am glad we can still keep in touch. We walked around the Pavillons for a bit...ending up in Hot Topic buying...what else? Earrings, of course! Lol. Got some cute dangly star ones. Gosh, Jasmine has the biggest eyes, geez. I'm so jealous, lol. We talked about good ol' days of middle school, hehe. Then we had to part ways. I nearly missed my bus home, eek. I ran and I musta looked like a doofus, haha. My pager fell so I had to pick that up and my pants were like falling off. Heh, very comical I bet. Well, I made it so yay. Got home and mainly relaxed for the rest of the night.

July 2nd, Sat.: Slept in until about 8:30 which was nice. Lounged around for a good portion of the morning/early afternoon. It was okay...it felt weird that I wasn't up and running around. I actually felt kinda bored. Jason came home. Deposited my first paycheck: $78.31, lol. We went to the old house. Just watered the lawn...didn't do much work. Then Safeway...bought food and went home. I got ready really fast because Sarah and Eric were basically ready to jet to Bash. Gosh, I felt so short =/ We had a great time at the club. I really like to just dance. I was having a merry ol' time until this guy kept trying to dance with me, noo! Haha, Eric was nice and cut in a lot. But this one dude would not get the hint and followed me around. I think one or two more guys tried to dance conmigo, pero no me cayen bien! Oy. Well, we decided to leave early to head to a party. This one guy outside yelled to catch my attention....said I was cute and asked where my boyfriend was at, haha. I blurted out, "Chicago!" (lol w/ Sarah! =D ) Good times.

The party happened to be more of a get-together...and not a happening one at that. There was a toddler running around...frowned at that since everyone was drinking around this little girl. She immediately got attached to me...after "beating me up", she dragged me to the sofa and made me sit with her, lol. Cute, but I wasn't really in the mood to play babysitter that night. Sarah and I split a Smirnoff and we didn't really mingle...ugh, Javier was there. We definitely didn't say a word to each other, good. Since there really wasn't anything worthwhile going on, we decided to leave. Got home around 1.

It's my 300th entry!
