I have some questions about WIPs, for both writers and readers.
As a writer, what is the purpose/benefit/advantage/point of posting a Work in Progress? If you are a writer who has or is currently posting a Work in Progress, is the story finished or do you post pieces as you write them?
As a reader, does seeing that something is incomplete make you not want to read it? What are your thoughts about Works in Progress?
Please come and share any and all thoughts you have about WIPs, I am full of questions. I have never posted anything that was incomplete but I am thinking of writing something that will potentially be very long and I know how my track record is for completing long stories. Does posting a Work in Progress take the pressure off or just add to it?
